由开发制作“星之海洋”（Star Ocean）系列作的tri-Ace公司负责开发制作的本作为一款动作性非常强的RPG游戏，而为了让不擅长动作操作的玩家也能充分享受到游戏乐趣，因此 官方特地在一开始最初的选单画面中加入了难易度设定的部份，让玩家可以依照自己的喜好来设定。
